Musical Ladders

Boy Bands United

Personally, I think the 90s were great. One of the best things about the 90s were the boy bands. I listened to other types of music besides pop, but I’m not ashamed to say that it will always hold a special place in my heart. OK maybe I am a little ashamed, but I’m mature enough now to not care so much.

So what’s a guy to do once he is no longer a “boy” and he doesn’t have the commercial appeal of Mr. Timberlake? Work with other boy bands members!

JC Chasez is reportedly no longer with Jive Records and is writing songs with the Backstreet Boys. Say what? That’s really crossing over to the otherside. I’m happy JC is still working. He has talent. I think it’s cute that BSB is still trying stay in the game. They used to be so cute and innocent.

Then there’s Chris Kilpatrick.. He has this show on VH1 called Mission Man Band. He, Rich Cronin (the blonde one from LFO), Jeff Timmons (the hot one from 98 Degrees), and Bryan Abrams (the hot lead singer from Color Me Badd) are making a man band. I think they call themselves Sure Shot. I like the idea of these guys working together. It has potential. I would possibly buy the album. Not for Chris so much but for the others. I don’t see them having huge success though. :-(

Personally, I think all of the boy bands should just get together and have a massive tour. It would be liked a man choir. Maybe they could start a show in Vegas. O-town could be the opening act.
