I’m going through a somewhat stressful period right now. I interviewed for a job about a month ago. I was somewhat hesitant going in, but by the end, I was really feeling confident about the position. They seemed to really like me. 

I followed up later and was told that they had made a decision and that I should receive a job offer by the end of the week. Fast forward 2 weeks and I follow up again. There is a hang up. The lady I talk to is really nice and apologizes because she thought everything would be done. Last she heard the guys at the top were looking at the budget.

So, I’m stuck playing the waiting game. I’m still applying for other jobs of course, but I hate it because I really think the job is right for me. I’m trying to remain positive and hope for the best.

I have a feeling things will work out in the end. Whether it be with them or someone else, but it sucks not knowing the future.
