Well.. we’ve got another song and dance. When I first heard “Crank That” it was at the grocery store. These two stoned and/or drunk guys kept singing the chorus and playing it on their cell phone. All I could think was WTF?

Then it took over radio. This didn’t bother me so much since I’d just change the station or listen to a CD. But for a while I still didn’t understand why people liked the song. Then I found out about the dance. Supposedly that’s the way to get radio play these days. Make a song that has a dance with it. People will automatically listen while they learn the dance and do the dance.

Be real. The song is stupid. The dance makes it more tolerable. and yes.. I learned the damn thing.. Just watch the video. I’m not even going to bother with the lyrics.
