I was scrolling through iTunes today (which is nothing new) and decided to scroll to the bottom to see what song I added first. It was “Underneath it All” by No Doubt. I added it 04/05/04 at 7:08 pm. It was the day I got my Ipod. I can’t find my Ipod now. :-(
No Doubt makes [...]

I figured I’d go back in time a little today. This songs reminds me of high school. I loved Mariah Carey in the 90s. It all started with Music Box. I had a copy of it on a cassette tape. I think I fell in love with the song “Hero” and from there my fondness [...]

This song is really special to me. It reminds me of a time I went through recently where I broke free and branched out on my own. It was scary but peaceful. I want this song to be played at my funeral when I die. Not that I’m really thinking that far ahead, but it does [...]

Fall is here. So the weather will get much cooler soon. Yay for that! But it also means time for new clothes. There’s an Old Navy commercial with sweaters in it that I love and plan to purchase one day. What does this have to do with the song of the day? Well, the song [...]

The song that started it all.. This song is one of the first songs I ever chose as a Song of the Day. It’s a repeat offender. This song is timeless. I can relate to it so much.. I know the feeling he is describing all too well. My pain is different from his pain, but that [...]

As always, this is another great song. It’s done by One Republic. I love the vocals. Timbaland changed the beat a little, added some background noise, and added to his album. He did a good job with the song though. The One Republic fans just like to bring up the fact that it’s really should be [...]

I love this song. It’s so damn catchy and just kind of fun. The video is cute and has the same feel to it. Plus everyone has had that feeling at some point. The anxiousness and butterflies. It’s a good workout song too.
You’re standing at the door
I’m falling to the floor
You [...]

Damn the parking lot. I know I put it there but still. In all actuality, it wasn’t paradise that got paved over. It was a hole in the wall joint that not many people cared for. We loved it though and made the best of it. People just didn’t understand. Can you actually see [...]

You kind of have to listen to this song to really get it. It’s contagious and very positive. It was never released as a single so you’re stuck with a Sim video.
Ah-ah, ah ah-ah, ah ah-ah-ah, ah-ah-ah-ah-ah….
I woke up this morning, the sunshine was shining
I put on my happy face
I’m living, [...]

This song reminds me of when my grandma died. I saw Keane perform this song on SNL the day before she died, and it was the first time I had heard it. This song goes way beyond that to me though. It doesn’t really make me sad. Keane is a pretty cool group, and everyone [...]
